Paralegal Everforth - 3.6 Costa Mesa, CA Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Dental insurance 401(k) Flexible spending account Paid time off Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Paralegal An established firm based in Costa Mesa, CA with over 10 years in practice is seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal with 3+ years of experience in civil litigation to join their team onsite. This role will support attorneys across all phases of personal injury cases, from pre-litigation through trial, while maintaining a high standard of organization, communication, and client care. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
1+ years of paralegal experience in civil litigation is preferred, though personal injury-specific experience is not required An associate's degree or bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, or a paralegal certificate from an accredited program, is preferred Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with clients in a compassionate and professional manner Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple case files and deadlines simultaneously Familiarity with case management software and legal document management systems Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, interrogatories, subpoenas, and deposition notices under attorney supervision Manage and organize case files, medical records, and evidence throughout the lifecycle of each case Conduct legal research to support case strategy and trial preparation Coordinate and schedule court hearings, depositions, client meetings, and other proceedings Facilitate communication between clients, attorneys, and third parties to ensure all parties remain informed on case progress Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing trial notebooks, and coordinating witnesses Monitor case deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and relevant procedural requirements Retrieve, review, and summarize medical records and related documentation to support case development Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, 401K, PTO, Parking For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
