You will be responsible for ensuring meticulous documentation and effective courtroom preparation for a demanding caseload, contributing directly to impactful legal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Caseload Management:

Independently manage a robust caseload of 25-40 active cases at any given time, ensuring efficient progression and deadline compliance.

Legal Writing & Drafting:

Draft, proofread, and review complex legal documents including substantive motions , pleadings, and discovery materials.

Negotiation Support:

Assist attorneys in the strategy and drafting of settlement offers and counter-offers .

Research:

Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw , and other tools to support criminal cases and cross-functional areas such as immigration or tribal law.

Trial Preparation:

Prepare exhibits, review evidence, and summarize case information to facilitate seamless courtroom presentation.

Client Relations:

Conduct interviews with clients, witnesses, and experts in both English and Spanish , maintaining the highest levels of professionalism and confidentiality.

Administrative Excellence:

Utilize case management systems to maintain organized records and coordinate court filings in compliance with procedural rules.

Required Qualifications Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in criminal law or criminal defense litigation.

Language:

Full professional fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Westlaw/LexisNexis and legal case management software.

Legal Expertise:

A strong understanding of litigation procedures and the ability to synthesize complex findings into clear memos or reports.

Versatility:
