This is a rare setup:
a small, stable team where paralegals handle substantive case work that support staff at large firms never touch, with partners who teach and invest in your growth. You do not need years of bankruptcy experience. The firm has successfully trained sharp, motivated people from the ground up. What matters most is strong academics or legal training, genuine work ethic, and the drive to learn a sophisticated practice area from attorneys who are among the best at it. What You'll Do Support Chapter 11 corporate debtor cases and out-of-court workouts Prepare and manage court filings, case documents, and deadlines Assist attorneys with case administration from filing through resolution Coordinate with clients, creditors, and court personnel Grow into substantive responsibilities usually reserved for associates at larger firms What We're Looking For Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal training (strong academic record a plus) Excellent writing, organization, and attention to detail Strong work ethic and initiative; you ask questions and take ownership Comfortable with technology; the firm has been fully paperless for over 20 years Able to work in-office 4 to 5 days per week in Orange County Stable work or academic history Based in Southern California; visa sponsorship is not available Nice to Have Any exposure to bankruptcy, litigation, or corporate law through coursework, internships, or prior roles Interest in business, finance, or accounting Why This Firm Learn Chapter 11 practice hands-on from accessible, invested partners Merit-driven culture where strong performers are rewarded, including significant annual bonuses Paperless, tech-forward office with real work-life balance once you're up to speed Tight-knit, drama-free team with decades of stability
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Application Question(s): This role requires working in-person at the firm's Orange County office 4 to 5 days per week.
