Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant for a direct hire opportunity in Martinez, CA. This role is ideal for a professional with 1 to 2 years of administrative or legal office experience who enjoys supporting a busy legal services environment, interacting with the public, and keeping important case-related documents organized and moving efficiently. The Legal Administrative Assistant will play an important front-office and administrative support role, assisting witnesses, law enforcement officers, and members of the public while handling legal documents, police reports, case management entries, scanning, and electronic court submissions. - Answer and manage multiple phone lines in a professional and courteous manner.
- Greet, assist, and direct witnesses, law enforcement officers, and members of the public to the appropriate locations.
- Log receipt of legal documents, motions, and police reports, then distribute or process them accordingly.
- Enter police reports from law enforcement agencies into the PbK case management system.
- Electronically submit case documents to the Court and ensure timely, accurate processing.
- Scan documents, maintain organized records, and complete additional administrative duties as assigned by the Office Manager. Compensation and Benefits
