Litigation Paralegal

Description Established law firm based in Redwood City has an immediate opening for a Litigation Paralegal to join a busy legal team supporting intellectual property and patent disputes. This Paralegal opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional who can manage competing deadlines, maintain organized case materials, and contribute throughout the full litigation lifecycle. The role offers hands-on involvement with court filing, discovery projects, trial preparation, and close collaboration with attorneys and senior paralegals in a fast-moving environment. This position requires hybrid on-site work in Redwood City, CA.

Responsibilities:

+ Assisting litigation group in multiple matters through all stages of litigation + Reviewing, cite-checking and preparation of court filings + Assistance with filing and service of documents and all aspects of discovery + Maintaining production and deposition indexes and general case organization + Updating production databases and assistance with preparing document productions + Preparation for and attendance at trial + Provide support and work closely with senior paralegals and attorneys Requirements + 2-4+ years of relevant experience in IP or civil litigation as a paralegal. + Position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to work on multiple concurrent projects calmly and confidently in a friendly, fast-paced team environment + Must be detail oriented and have good word-processing skills + Experience should include electronic court filing, motion practice, cite-checking, formatting of pleadings for filing, and familiarity with all aspects of discovery + Computer skills should include Microsoft Office Suite and basic document processing + Experience with Relativity and/or other discovery databases is a plus.
