Paralegal Compensation:
$29 - $33 an hour Full-time Monday-Friday Vision, dental, and medical insurance offered through O2
Paralegal Qualifications:
2+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience, preferably in civil litigation, family law, employment law, or business law Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court filing procedures, and document preparation Experience drafting pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, and legal correspondence Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and attorney calendars in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems, and e-filing platforms Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive client information professionally Associate's degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent legal experience preferred
Paralegal Responsibilities:
Draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, correspondence, and discovery materials for attorney review Prepare and organize case files, exhibits, and supporting documentation File legal documents with courts through electronic and in-person filing systems Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties regarding case updates and scheduling Maintain attorney calendars, deadlines, hearings, and trial preparation timelines Conduct legal research and gather supporting case information as requested Assist with trial preparation, witness coordination, and exhibit organization Track billable time, case notes, and status updates to ensure accurate file management Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
