Job Description
We are a premier law firm with more than 15 attorneys and legal professionals, recognized for our collaborative team, operational excellence, and strong client relationships. We are seeking a highly organized and motivated professional to support our busy litigation practice. This is a demanding, fast-paced role requiring initiative, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively. Litigation experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, aptitude for learning, and commitment to a career in the legal field. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Draft, revise, finalize, and proofread correspondence, pleadings, court forms, memoranda, discovery documents, and other legal documents Prepare and file state, federal, appellate, and complex civil court filings, including electronic filings and service of pleadings Manage attorney calendars, monitor deadlines, and coordinate court appearances, depositions, mediations, meetings, and travel arrangements Open new matters, conduct conflicts checks, obtain conflict waivers, and maintain case files and records Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, vendors, and other parties on behalf of attorneys Assist attorneys with discovery, document production, exhibit preparation, depositions, trial preparation, and trial support Organize, maintain, and produce physical and electronic files, including document databases, PDFs, exhibits, and litigation materials Process invoices, expense reports, and other administrative tasks supporting the litigation team Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys and assist team members as needed Education and/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred 3-4 years of law firm experience at a litigation desk strongly preferred Candidates with less experience will be considered if they demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and a strong willingness to learn. We are willing to train the right candidate, but this role requires dedication, the ability to absorb a significant amount of information, and a commitment to mastering complex procedures and deadlines.
