Litigation Paralegal Robert Half - 3.9 Roseville, CA Job Details Temporary | Contract $33 - $41 an hour 3 days ago Benefits Disability insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Qualifications Legal writing E-filing platforms Calendar management Legal case management Pleadings filing assistance Full Job Description Our client, a litigation firm based in Roseville, is seeking an experienced Paralegal to step in and provide coverage during an upcoming leave while also serving as an integral, long-term contributor to the team. The practice focuses on a mix of trust & estates litigation, probate matters, and some business litigation. They are looking for someone who can operate at a high level, take ownership of their work, and contribute substantively, particularly through independent drafting (not template-based). This is a fully on-site role, five days a week in Roseville and would be about a 6-month contract, supporting a collaborative but fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Draft pleadings, declarations, and other legal documents from scratch without reliance on templates Support trust & estates litigation matters, including probate and trust administration disputes Assist with business and broader civil litigation cases as needed Handle e-filing in California state courts and ensure compliance with court rules Manage litigation calendaring, deadlines, and docketing across cases Review case materials and identify missing components to support argument development Work closely with attorneys to move cases forward efficiently and proactively

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a paralegal within civil litigation Exposure to trust & estates litigation or probate (preferred, not required) Strong independent drafting ability—comfortable building documents from the ground up Experience with e-filing and litigation calendaring Solid understanding of civil litigation processes and case flow No paralegal certificate required Able to work fully on-site in Roseville, Monday-Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a high-responsibility role Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
