Paralegal / Legal Assistant Roseville Law Office Roseville, CA Job Details Full-time $25 - $35 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits 401(k) Qualifications Teamwork Expense management Attention to detail Legal case management Time management Full Job Description A Roseville-based law firm is seeking a Paralegal / Legal Assistant to support attorneys in litigation in state, federal and bankruptcy courts. This role involves working on state and federal cases, including adversary proceedings and contested matters in bankruptcy courts. This role is suited for a highly organized professional who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining acute attention to details. Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling meetings, depositions, mediations, hearings, client conferences, and travel Track court deadlines, appearances, and statutory limitations to ensure compliance Prepare, format, proofread, finalize, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, correspondence, and court forms Ensure all filings comply with state and federal court rules, formatting requirements, and confidentiality standards Handle electronic filing and service with courts and parties Processing of mail Maintain organized electronic case files, including accurate labeling and flowsheets Monitor court dockets and save incoming filings and client materials Serve as a point of contact for clients, court personnel, and legal professionals Coordinate logistics for meetings, court appearances, and travel Assist with new matter intake, file opening, calendaring, billing coordination, and expense processing when assigned to a partner Time entry and proofing Route billing statements and invoices for timely processing Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Timeslips, DocuSign, and virtual meeting platforms Proficient knowledge of State and Federal Rules and California Code of Civil Procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Familiarity with TimeSlips time entry software. Electronic Calendaring and Docketing. Fast accurate keyboarding skills.
