About the Firm We are a boutique litigation law firm in San Francisco, a small, collaborative team focused on executive and founder disputes and high-stakes litigation. Every member of our team is essential to the daily success of the firm and the service we provide to our clients. The Role This position is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented person who is organized, dependable, and eager to learn the day-to-day operations of a boutique law firm. The role combines hands-on support for our attorneys with office coordination and billing support, and offers a strong entry point into the legal field within a professional, fast-paced environment. It is well suited to a recent graduate, or to someone with a year or two of front-desk or administrative experience in a law firm, real estate office, or similar professional setting. Key Responsibilities Attorney Support and Legal Administration Provide administrative support to firm attorneys, including organizing and preparing legal documents and correspondence. Assist with the assembly, service, and filing of pleadings, motions, and discovery for court filings, under attorney supervision. Help maintain the firm's master calendar by entering court dates and deadlines under attorney supervision, so attorneys stay prepared for upcoming filings and hearings. Maintain well-organized digital and physical case files. Office Administration Manage incoming and outgoing mail and legal deliveries. Serve as a point of contact for firm vendors and process vendor payments. Support general office organization and administrative needs for our San Francisco suite. Billing Support Assist with the firm's monthly billing process by compiling attorney time and expenses for invoicing. Support the submission of payroll. Enter third-party costs and disbursements into the billing system each month to help ensure accurate client pass-through. Coordinate with the firm's bookkeeper to provide necessary documentation. Light familiarity with QuickBooks Online is helpful but not required. Requirements and Qualifications Education and Experience A Bachelor's degree is required. Prior experience in a professional office, such as a receptionist or administrative role at a law firm or real estate office, is a plus. We are glad to train a candidate with the right aptitude and work ethic. Technical Skills Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general comfort learning new software systems.

Availability:
This is an in-person role. Candidates must be available to work at our San Francisco office during regular business hours. Compensation and Benefits $23.08 to $28.85 per hour (equivalent to $48,000 to $60,000 per year based on a 40-hour week), depending on experience. This is a non-exempt, hourly position. 401(k) retirement plan. Partially subsidized health insurance.
