Litigation Legal Assistant Location:
San Francisco, CA Job Type:
Full-Time, Hybrid (3 Days Onsite),
Direct Hire Salary:
$90K to 110K annually DOE. Benefits may include Paid Time Off, Sick Leave, Holidays, Healthcare, Dental and Vision Coverage, and 401(k). LHH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Assistant to join a well-established litigation defense firm in San Francisco, CA. This is a direct-hire opportunity for a professional with at least 2-3 years of litigation support experience, including federal court and litigation defense/plaintiff exposure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of both federal and state procedures, excellent organizational abilities, and the confidence to communicate effectively with attorneys and clients in a fast-paced environment. Our client, a law firm, is seeking an experienced litigation secretary to provide high-level legal support to a team of attorneys. The right candidate is professional, tech savvy and able to handle multiple priorities and work in an organized, efficient manner. The successful candidate will effectively manage all aspects of the professional responsibilities of the assigned attorneys. Duties & Responsibilities An experienced litigation legal secretary with 2-3+years of experience is required. Coordination of discovery shells, creation of legal documents as well as the editing, proofreading, and processing of legal documents upon request of assigned attorneys, including correspondence, memoranda, discovery, MSJ, pleadings, or other practice specific documents Strong experience with state and federal e-filing (both paper & electronic), manual calendaring (outlook), supporting 3 to 4 attorneys. Preference is defense litigation, TOA/TOC, collaborating with staff regarding Administrative Support for paralegals and attorneys. Assists with overflow work and other special projects as assigned. Knowledge of Outlook, Compu law, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications:
2-3+ years of solid civil litigation secretary experience highly preferred Strong experience with state/federal e filing, calendaring, TOA/TOC.
