We are a small full-service estate planning/probate law firm specializing in serving families with loved ones with disabilities. We are seeking an experienced paralegal that is interested in a long-term career opportunity. Our practice is unique and rewarding! We are looking for that perfect candidate to add to our dedicated team.
Major responsibilities include:
Providing support to attorneys Preparing estate planning documents. (WealthDocs knowledge a plus.) Preparing, processing & filing probate court documents Preparing and filing documents with recorder's office Maintaining client database Maintaining legal calendar Email & telephone correspondence with clients Copying, scanning, & filing documents Answering phones and greeting clients Assist with workshops and resource/vendor fairs Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification 4+ years paralegal/legal assistant experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Detail oriented and highly organized Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy Strong computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; ability to learn new programs as needed Self-motivated, flexible, with exceptional follow-through skills Minimum typing speed of 55 wpm Experience/familiarity with the special needs community a plus Experience probate work a plus Notary public license a plus Please submit your resume/CV and cover letter.
