Full Job Description About Us:
We are a growing Personal Injury Law Firm in California dedicated to helping injured individuals navigate the legal process with care and expertise. We are looking for a part-time Paralegal with 1-3 years of experience to join our team. If you know the ins and outs of the litigation process- from initial case prep to trial
- and you thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment, we want you!
What You'll Be Doing:
Team up with attorneys to prep cases like a pro (motions, pleadings, discovery, you name it). Manage case files (medical records, legal docs, discovery responses)- keep everything in check and on point! Assist with trial prep
- organizing exhibits, drafting trial briefs, and making sure we're trial-ready. Be the communication hub
- work with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies to keep everything running smoothly. Master the calendar
- keep track of deadlines and court appearances so we never miss a beat. Get your research on
- dive into legal research, summarize case law, and make sure we're always one step ahead. Draft legal docs
- create demand letters, settlement packages, and medical summaries with flair. Support your team
- from strategic planning to client negotiations, you'll play a key role in the action.
What We're Looking For:
1-3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in personal injury law. Strong understanding of civil litigation and legal terminology (bonus points for trial experience). You're a pro at drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery . Tech-savvy- familiarity with legal software like CasePeer, Clio , or similar is a plus. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
- multitasking is your middle name! Strong written and verbal communication skills
- you know how to make things happen and keep people in the loop.
