Duties Help Advises the Staff Judge Advoce on all command issues on behalf of command staff, researching interpretion of federal/ste stutes and regulions, and ensuring th legal guidance and support is furnished in a timely manner. Provides legal assistance on a non-interference basis to members of the ANG and their dependents as authorized by AFI 51-504, CNGBI, NGR, and other AF/JA guidance. Conducts legal research of federal and ste/territory code, regulions, policies, procedures, case law, legal and administrive decisions and opinions, and summarizes findings to aid the SJA in case or project resolution. Provides research, analysis, guidance, and support to administer courts-martial, non-judicial punishment, administrive boards and other legal actions and administrive processes. Serves as the primary point of contact for ethical determinions. Screens requests for ethics opinions and ghers the applicable facts. Reviews changes in regulions on the Freedom of Informion Act and updes and advises other legal personnel and field staff of changes. Performs other duties as assigned.
