Working with a professional office staff of eight team members and nine lawyers, he/she will thrive in a growing and collegial atmosphere. Most of the work is transactional in nature and requires an individual who can be highly organized while balancing several hundred active accounts. Providing an exceptional client experience is paramount even with the core of the task relating to collections related cases.
Job Description:
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
  • Analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify, prioritize and solve problems effectively regarding basic matters.
  • Basic project management skills and experience interacting with law firm/vendors.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Basic researching, proofreading, and formatting skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and interact with all levels of personnel and build strong relationships with business colleagues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, advanced written and oral communication and effective customer service skills.
  • Ability to identify inconsistencies in routine work and initiate corrective action within own workflow. - Able to deliver results with a sense of urgency.
  • Adapts well to change; able to multi-task and make effective decisions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Is a proactive self-starter who can manage his/her time effectively and work independently.
  • Can successfully navigate difficult conversations while maintaining a positive demeanor.
Required Characteristics and Credentials:
Associates Degree or higher Client centric and seeks ways to exceed expectations upon every encounter. Willingness and ability to learn new skills. Be personable, articulate, knowledgeable and professional in presenting oneself in a professional setting. Ability to learn skills quickly. Flexibility in dealing with simultaneous projects. Attention to detail. Ability to function with a high level of patience, tact and diplomacy in handling any complaints and situations. Minimum of 3 -year professional level work experience.
Highly Desired Characteristics and Credentials:
Bi-lingual Notary Experience with Home Owners Association Experience in collections/bankruptcy/foreclosure Litigation experience Additional Compensation - The firm offers excellent benefits including health insurance, fully subsidized employee dental and vision, Short- & Long-Term Disability coverage, PTO, a matching Simple IRA and a base compensation plan in accordance with experience.
