Paralegal

Overview We seek a caring part-time Paralegal in our office in Danbury, CT to assist our two attorneys specializing in Elder Law, Estate Planning and Probate. Our firm supports and advocates for clients in and approaching their senior years, as they plan for and navigate major life changes including potential long-term care, incapacity and succession. Duties include preparing public benefit applications (e.g., Medicaid), assistance with drafting legal documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney), preparing probate court filings (inventories, financial reports, etc.), client interactions (written and in-person) and certain administrative functions. Candidates must possess good organizational skills to manage multiple matters, strong writing skills, and a desire to help enable clients thrive as they face the challenges of their later years and to provide for their families' futures.
