Probate Paralegal- Contract to Hire SR Staffing Manchester, CT Job Details Contract $25 - $38 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Caseload management Full Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Probate Paralegal to support attorneys in all aspects of estate administration and probate matters. The ideal candidate will have experience handling probate filings, communicating with courts and clients, and managing case timelines from initiation through closure. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Assist attorneys with the preparation and filing of probate and estate administration documents, including petitions, inventories, accounting, and closing statements Draft legal documents such as wills, trusts, affidavits, and correspondence File documents with probate courts and ensure compliance with applicable rules and deadlines Monitor case status and maintain accurate case calendars, including court dates and filing deadlines Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, executors, trustees, and third parties Coordinate asset collection and valuation (bank accounts, real estate, investments, etc.) Assist with preparation of federal and state estate tax returns (if applicable) Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files Conduct legal research related to probate procedures and estate law Liaise with courts, financial institutions, and government agencies Support attorneys during hearings or proceedings when required The SR Group (UK) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
