Paralegal - Personal Injury

Pay:

$28-$30 per hour Job description: The Law Firm of Stephen M. Reck and Scott D. Camassar, LLC seeks an experienced personal injury paralegal to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Preparation of court forms, pleadings, discovery, correspondence, retainer agreements, and e-filings with appropriate courts. Order medical records and other records as needed. Organize and maintain files using traditional and electronic document management systems. Maintain attorney calendars/schedule meetings, consultations, court appearances, etc. Manage a high level of client interaction via email, telephone, text, and in person. Other tasks and responsibilities as attorney and client needs dictate.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

Paralegal experience of three years minimum. Kindly do not apply if you do not have relevant legal experience. E-filing in Connecticut and/or Rhode Island. Must have the ability to work under deadlines and handle several assignments at one time, as well as the ability to adjust to changing priorities. Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills, be comfortable working directly with clients, and be able to work and prioritize tasks independently. A high level of competency with common software programs such as Microsoft and Google Suites, Adobe, and Zoom. Salary commensurate with experience.
