As an Immigration Paralegal, you will play a vital role in navigating immigration law procedures, preparing documentation, and providing exceptional administrative support to ensure our clients' success. Duties Assist attorney with case management by organizing and maintaining immigration-related documents using legal case management systems such as Clio and Docketwise. Conduct thorough legal research on immigration statutes, procedural law, and relevant regulations to support case strategies. Prepare and review legal documents including petitions, affidavits, applications, and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail. Interview clients and witnesses to gather essential information for immigration filings and case development. Manage deadlines for filings with government agencies such as USCIS or EOIR, ensuring compliance with procedural requirements. Coordinate with clients, government agencies, and external stakeholders via phone and email while maintaining professional communication standards. Support attorneys in preparing for interviews by reviewing case files, drafting summaries, and proofreading all documentation for accuracy. Requirements Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in immigration law; familiarity with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) procedures is highly preferred. Proficiency in legal administrative software such as Clio & Docketwise, Document Management Systems (DMS), and data entry tools. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines. Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents, correspondence, and reports; proofreading accuracy is essential. Effective interviewing skills to gather detailed client information efficiently and compassionately. Ability to handle clerical tasks including filing, transcription, document management, and maintaining meticulous records.
