Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Immigration Paralegal with experience in litigation and asylum cases. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting attorneys by managing case files, preparing legal documents, and conducting research related to asylum and removal defense.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with preparation of asylum (I-589), and all type off litigation cases with supporting documentation. Draft and organize paroles, motions, filings country conditions, case law and other relevant topics to support research for removal defense and asylum cases. Manage case files, including gathering, organizing, and maintaining supporting evidence and documentation. Prepare filings and ensure timely submission to the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) and USCIS. Coordinate with clients to obtain affidavits, declarations, and other necessary evidence to build strong cases. Maintain up-to-date records of deadlines, hearing dates, and court filings. Provide regular updates to clients on case status and respond to their inquiries.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in legal or immigration fields. 2+ years of experience as an immigration paralegal, with a focus on litigation or asylum cases preferred. Strong understanding of asylum law, removal defense, and EOIR procedures. Excellent legal research, writing, and organizational skills. Familiarity with EOIR's e-filing system, and USCIS procedures. Fluent in English and Spanish.
