The right candidate must possess the following skills for this position:
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish
  • Litigation experience, preferably Plaintiff experience
  • Technically Savvy ( Microsoft Office, Adobe, Printers, Email, Faxes, Scanner
  • Excellent writing & communication skills
  • Superior organization skills/Detail oriented
  • Self driven/Self motivated/can work independently
  • Knowledge in managing a case from inception to conclusion
  • Knowledge in State and Federal Court Rules and Procedures
  • Knowledge in electronic filings (both State and Federal
  • Strong work ethics
  • Work well under pressure and deadlines
  • Hands on resource reporting to and supporting attorneys
  • Team player Requirements Proven paralegal experience or legal administrative experience .
Strong knowledge of legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; ability to efficiently gather relevant case law and statutes. Familiarity with case management software including iManage and PCLaw; experience with document review and management systems is highly preferred. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents; keen proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy. Proficiency in data entry, file management systems, transcription services, and clerical duties such as filing and record keeping. Strong interpersonal skills with professional phone etiquette; ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members alike.
