Coral Gables, FL Job Details Full-time $79,000 - $80,000 a year 3 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Attention to detail Organizational skills Legal case management Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This vital role involves supporting attorneys through every phase of personal injury cases, from initial client intake to trial preparation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in legal research, case management, and document review, with a passion for advocating on behalf of clients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your paralegal expertise within a collaborative and fast-paced law office environment committed to excellence and client service. Duties Assist attorneys with case preparation by organizing and managing legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies Review and analyze medical records, accident reports, and other evidence relevant to personal injury claims Draft legal documents such as demand letters, settlement agreements, pleadings, and discovery responses with precision and clarity Manage case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw to ensure accuracy and accessibility Interview clients, witnesses, and experts to gather pertinent information for case development Coordinate with insurance companies, medical providers, and other parties involved in the litigation process Maintain organized schedules for court filings, deadlines, and appointments to ensure timely case progression Support trial preparation by assembling exhibits, witness lists, and other trial materials Skills Bilingual in Spanish and English Proven experience as a paralegal in personal injury law or related litigation fields such as workers' compensation or medical malpractice Strong knowledge of legal administrative processes including document review, filing procedures, and case management systems Excellent research skills utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research platforms Proficiency in legal drafting, proofreading, transcription, and writing clear reports or summaries Familiarity with legal software such as PCLaw, iManage, Clio or similar case management tools Ability to handle multiple projects efficiently with exceptional organizational skills Effective communication skills with professional phone etiquette for client interviews and correspondence Experience supporting attorneys in complex litigation environments involving estate planning, environmental law, tribal law & regulations, UCC law or securities law is a plus but not required Knowledge of various practice areas including family law, landlord-tenant law, patent law or immigration law enhances versatility Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards Join us in delivering exceptional legal support that makes a real difference!
