Job Description

Join a fast-growing immigration law firm making a real impact. We are seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal with a strong background in removal defense to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience handling immigration court matters, bond proceedings, motions practice, and client communication in a high-volume environment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on complex removal cases while supporting individuals and families through critical stages of their immigration journey. Responsibilities Prepare and file applications, motions, briefs, and supporting documentation for immigration court proceedings. Assist attorneys with removal defense cases from intake through case resolution. Draft and assemble motions, including motions to reopen, motions to reconsider, motions to terminate, motions to continue, and other court filings. Prepare bond packages and supporting evidence for bond hearings. Communicate with clients regarding case strategy, document collection, deadlines, and case updates. Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with filing deadlines. Coordinate with immigration courts, EOIR, USCIS, ICE, and other agencies as needed. Support attorneys in preparing for master calendar hearings, individual hearings, and bond proceedings. Required Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of immigration paralegal experience. Strong experience in removal defense. Experience preparing and supporting bond hearings. Experience drafting and filing motions before the Immigration Court and/or BIA. Bilingual Speaker (Portuguese preferred or Spanish) Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. Preferred Qualifications Experience with business immigration matters (H-1B, L-1, TN, E visas, PERM, I-140, etc.). Experience with appeals before the BIA. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, compassionate with clients, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Compensation:
commensurate with experience. Benefits include 15 paid time off, paid holidays, professional development opportunities, and performance-based bonuses.

$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
