11/15/2026 Total Compensation Estimator Tool Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, 1st Region has an opening for a Full-Time Legal Assistant needed to support attorneys in our Gainesville office. The position will be tasked with answering phones, transferring calls, greeting clients and must be able to handle electronic filings, calendaring and assigned tasks. Legal assistant experience, especially in the area of child welfare, is preferred. Experienced candidates must possess a high school diploma. Candidates must have computer skills with proficiency inMicrosoft Office:
Word, and Outlook. Candidates must be able to have the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and project a professional and friendly demeanor in all inter-office, client, court personnel and opposing counsel interactions and communications.
