Description A well-regarded law firm in Tampa is seeking a Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant to support a fast-paced litigation practice. This role is best suited for a detail-oriented professional who can manage competing priorities, stay ahead of deadlines, and provide seamless support to attorneys handling complex commercial matters. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys in commercial litigation matters Prepare, edit, and finalize legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence Handle electronic filings in state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with all procedural requirements and deadlines Maintain organized and up-to-date case files within document management systems Coordinate attorney schedules, including hearings, depositions, and client meetings Monitor case deadlines and assist with overall case progression from inception through trial Support discovery efforts, including document collection, organization, and production Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, binders, and supporting materials Serve as a point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel Assist with time entry, billing, and expense reporting as needed Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting commercial litigation attorneys Working knowledge of state and federal court procedures and e-filing systems Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively High level of attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off and firm holidays Additional firm-sponsored benefits Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply to be considered.
Pay Details:
