Job Description

Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal Afriat Law, PLLC is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and fast-paced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our growing litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of experience handling personal injury litigation and be able to independently manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Filevine is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Draft, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, notices, discovery, subpoenas, and other legal documents. Manage all aspects of litigation case files from suit through trial. Prepare and respond to discovery. Organize medical records, bills, and other evidence. Coordinate with clients, witnesses, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel. Schedule depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation events. Prepare hearing notebooks, trial binders, exhibits, and case summaries. Monitor court deadlines and ensure timely filings. Maintain the attorney's calendar and proactively manage case deadlines. Review court dockets and follow up on outstanding litigation matters. Assist with trial preparation and other litigation support as needed. Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years of personal injury litigation experience is required. Experience working in a plaintiff's personal injury law firm is strongly preferred. Experience with Filevine is highly preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and proofreading abilities. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Professional phone etiquette and client service skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
