REAL ESTATE PARALEGAL
South Florida | Full-Time | Primarily In-Office Established South Florida transactional attorney seeks an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to work directly with and support a busy commercial and residential real estate practice, with occasional corporate and estate planning matters. This is a full-time position working primarily with one attorney. The successful candidate will play a significant role in managing transactions from contract through closing and will enjoy substantial responsibility, autonomy, and direct client interaction. Requirements Minimum 5 years of commercial and/or residential real estate paralegal experience. Strong knowledge of real estate transactions from contract through closing. Experience reviewing title commitments, title searches, surveys, municipal lien searches, UCC searches, and related due diligence materials. Experience coordinating commercial and residential closings. Strong familiarity with Qualia, title underwriting portals, lender portals, Simplifile/eRecording systems, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Teams, and OneDrive. Strong organizational, communication, and client service skills. Ability to independently manage multiple files and deadlines. Strong professional presence, initiative, confidence, and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities Responsibilities include:
Managing real estate transactions from contract through closing. Reviewing title, survey, and due diligence matters. Coordinating commercial and residential closings. Preparing closing packages and closing statements. Working with lenders, title companies, brokers, surveyors, and vendors. Coordinating recordings and post-closing matters. Assisting with limited corporate and estate planning matters. What Makes This Position Different This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must be capable of independently managing complex transactions with limited supervision. The successful candidate will report directly to the supervising attorney and will function as part of a direct attorney-paralegal team. This position is intended for an experienced paralegal who takes pride in helping drive transactions to closing. The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of transaction management, coordinate the various parties involved in each matter, monitor deadlines and requirements, identify issues requiring attention, and help ensure that matters continue progressing efficiently, allowing the attorney to concentrate on legal strategy, negotiations, document preparation, and client counseling.
