Job Description

We are seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a fast-growing legal services office in Maitland, FL. This in-office role will support attorneys and staff within an HOA and condominium law practice, along with other general legal matters. This is a strong opportunity for a Legal Administrative Assistant with at least 1 year of law firm experience who is looking for stability, professional growth, and the potential to move into a paralegal role over time. The work environment is flexible, team-oriented, and built around supportive leadership rather than micromanagement. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, strong ethics, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn in a busy legal office. Key Responsibilities
  • File legal documents with the court using the Florida E-Portal.
  • Assist with drafting, formatting, and proofreading letters, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Update, maintain, and organize client files and case information.
  • Calendar deadlines, schedule appointments, and log information into the case management system.
  • Answer phones and provide professional communication with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and internal staff.
  • Enter billing information into the appropriate files and assist with additional administrative and legal support tasks as needed. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay:
    $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.
  • Job type: Temp-to-hire.
  • Schedule:
    Flexible schedule options between 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Work arrangement: In office.
  • Location:
    Maitland, FL.
