Construction Litigation Legal Assistant Orlando, FL (Hybrid after 90 days) $65,000 - $75,000 annually 37.5-hour work week About the Role A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy team of attorneys. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and has a strong understanding of litigation processes. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day support to attorneys and paralegals in construction litigation matters Manage client communication and assist with administrative inquiries Open new matters, process conflicts checks, and maintain case files Coordinate scheduling for hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents including motions, notices, and correspondence E-file documents in state and federal courts Maintain and organize electronic files within a document management system Handle attorney time entry and assist with monthly billing processes Prepare expense reports and assist with accounting-related tasks Coordinate travel, meetings, and conference room logistics Assist with court filings, courtesy copies, and hearing preparation Ensure compliance with Bar requirements, CLEs, and court admissions Oversee file closing, ensuring all invoices and funds are properly handled Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of legal assistant experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment Strong knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) Experience with iManage, FileSite, and Aderant is a plus Typing speed of 60+ WPM with strong transcription skills Education Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field required Bachelor's degree preferred Why Apply?
