Paralegal - Trust and Estates Established (20+ Years) Estate Planning & Tax Law Firm Seeking Trust and Estates Paralegal in Palm Beach Gardens, FL An established (20+ years), AV-Rated boutique law firm in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking a Trust and Estates Paralegal with 1-3+ years of experience supporting estate planning, trust and probate administration, and tax matters for high-net-worth clients to join their team onsite. Qualifications:
1-3+ years of paralegal experience in trusts and estates, ideally supporting high-net-worth clients Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously Polished telephone manner and a professional, customer-focused communication style Ability to handle matters independently from intake through completion after an attorney's initial client meeting and instruction Hands-on experience drafting Revocable Trusts, Durable Powers of Attorney, Healthcare Surrogates, Living Wills, Last Wills and Testaments, and other related estate planning documents Notary commission, or willingness to obtain one, in order to lead and notarize client document signings Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively alongside attorneys, CPAs, financial advisors, and clients Experience with Amicus Attorney is a plus but not required
Responsibilities:
Meet with clients and family members to gather information and support the planning process Transcribe attorney dictations and prepare related correspondence Prepare and e-record deeds Draft Revocable Trusts, Durable Powers of Attorney, Healthcare Surrogates, Living Wills, Last Wills and Testaments, and other Trust and Estate documentation Set up asset schedules and funding documents to support trust administration Lead client document signings and notarize documents as needed Assist the in-house CPA team with tax return preparation and related compliance work Handle matters independently from A to Z following an attorney's initial meeting and instruction Stay organized across multiple active client files and maintain accurate, timely documentation throughout each engagement Benefits For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
