Litigation Legal Assistant Palm Harbor, FL Direct Hire | Full-Time Monday-Friday | On-site TempExperts is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to place with a well-established Palm Harbor law office. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong litigation support skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for a proactive, deadline-driven individual who is confident supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation. Key Responsibilities Manage trial calendars, discovery deadlines, and scheduling for motions, mediations, and depositions. Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, witnesses, experts, and legal service vendors. Prepare, review, and file pleadings through the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal (PACER experience a plus). Review legal documents, manage productions, summarize materials, and draft pleadings and correspondence. Assist attorneys with preparation for mediations, trials, and depositions. Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files and document databases. Coordinate document productions and manage high-volume litigation materials. Conduct legal research and assist with document and factual investigations. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of litigation experience in a law firm environment. Strong knowledge of Florida state court rules and procedures. Demonstrated expertise with electronic filing systems (Florida e-Portal; federal systems preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with Clio or similar legal case management software preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, multitasking, and project-management abilities. High attention to detail with a proactive, self-directed work style. Ability to perform well under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume litigation environment.
