Full Job Description Job Summary:
Legal Assistant We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our legal team with both administrative and client-facing responsibilities. This role involves assisting in Spanish-language consultations, managing the attorney's calendar, coordinating client communications, and preparing legal documentation, including managing entry-level cases from intake through completion. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate case files, assist with immigration filings (such as TPS, EAD, and renewals), and support attorneys by drafting correspondence, conducting legal research, and preparing documents for court. Responsibilities also include updating case management systems, facilitating the intake and leads process, ordering certified translations and records under supervision, and ensuring organized filing systems. Additional duties include answering calls and emails, scheduling appointments, taking meeting notes, handling mail and filing, managing office supplies, and running occasional errands to locations such as courts or USCIS and more. Strong communication skills, professionalism, accountability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, bilingual (English/Spanish), and possess a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
