Job Description:

The Leeder Law Team is seeking a Bilingual Litigation Paralegal with 2+ years of experience to join us in Plantation. The proper candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office, must have very strong written and communication skills, be proficient in records requesting, drafting pleadings, complete discovery responses for review, file court documents, manage court deadlines, calendar important dates, schedule litigation, working with a case management system, maintain litigation cases and communicate with clients. Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, be highly detail oriented, able to multitask, prioritize work activities, manage workload with a great attitude and do this with minimal supervision.

Bilingual Litigation Paralegal Duties and Responsibilities:

Interact with clients and develop a reliable relationship with clients assigned; Collect all injury information, evidence and documentation to build the client's case, and save into our Firm's case management software (training will be provided); Generate a weekly/monthly report with results for all assigned tasks. Calendar important dates and track deadlines for each case file; Obtain, file, and log medical liens and records for case files. Assist with case management and other administrative duties as assigned. Bilingual Litigation Paralegal Requirements Ideally over 2 years of personal injury case management experience (as paralegal or legal assistant role). Detail-oriented professional with a positive outlook Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Highly trustworthy, punctual, and discreet Experience handling large volume of personal injury cases Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship provided) Type at least 60 wpm

Bilingual Litigation Paralegal Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or related field highly preferred but not required. Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Bilingual (English/Spanish, English/Creole or another language + English) is a must.
