Job Description

Legal Assistant - Bankruptcy & Creditor's Rights / Litigation LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a well-established, collaborative legal team seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support multiple attorneys within a busy bankruptcy, creditor's rights, and litigation practice. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing a variety of responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Prepare, draft, and review legal documents, including bankruptcy filings and related case materials E-file documents and manage filings in both federal and state courts Maintain case files, track deadlines, and ensure matters progress efficiently Coordinate scheduling of hearings, meetings, and client communications Support attorneys in preparing for court appearances and client interactions Respond to client inquiries and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality Ensure compliance with applicable court procedures and legal requirements Qualifications 2+ years of experience in litigation or a similar legal environment Familiarity with federal and state court rules (experience with Florida courts strongly preferred) Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with a document management system is a plus
