About Us Dozier Law Firm is a well-established personal injury and civil litigation firm serving clients across Southwest Georgia. We are dedicated to fighting for the rights of injured individuals and their families. Our Albany office team is collaborative, fast-paced, and deeply committed to achieving justice for every client we represent. Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Investigator/Paralegal to join our litigation team in Albany, Georgia. In this dual role, you will conduct field and records investigations while providing essential paralegal support throughout the life cycle of a case — from intake through resolution. This is a hands-on position that requires strong initiative, sound judgment, and excellent organizational skills. Key Responsibilities Conduct field investigations including scene visits, witness interviews, and accident reconstruction documentation Obtain and organize medical records, police reports, employment records, and other case-related documentation Locate and interview potential witnesses; document and summarize statements for attorney review Draft and proofread legal documents including demand letters, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence Manage case calendars, track deadlines, and coordinate with courts, clients, and medical providers Perform background research on defendants, entities, and insurance carriers; identify assets and coverage Communicate professionally with clients to provide case status updates and gather additional information Photograph accident scenes, vehicles, property damage, and injuries as needed Required Qualifications 2+ years of paralegal or investigative experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Valid Georgia driver's license and reliable vehicle Proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously Preferred Qualifications Experience in personal injury or civil litigation Paralegal certificate or Associate's/Bachelor's degree Familiarity with case management software Prior law enforcement or investigative background Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus What We Offer Competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience Health benefits Paid time off Professional development opportunities Collaborative, supportive team environment Meaningful, client-focused work

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
