Job Description
Description Robert Half is seeking a corporate paralegal to support an in-house team with real estate and general corporate matters. The person in this role will help coordinate deal activity, maintain entity records(200+,) and work closely with internal stakeholders and outside counsel as transaction volume continues to expand.
Responsibilities:
- Support commercial real estate transactions from initial preparation through closing, with a focus on acquisitions, refinances, and dispositions.
- Coordinate with outside counsel, lenders, and internal team members to organize documents, track deliverables, and keep deal activity moving on schedule.
- Review and assemble transaction materials such as purchase documentation, closing checklists, entity records, and related legal files.
- Maintain corporate entity information and assist with organizational structuring, registrations, dissolutions, and recordkeeping as business needs evolve.
- Update corporate charts and manage entity-related filings and data within the company's designated portal and record systems.
- Prepare organized electronic files and closing materials for hospitality property transactions and related financing matters.
- Track incoming litigation notices, reports, and related documentation, escalating items appropriately and maintaining accurate status records.
- Provide day-to-day paralegal support to legal, capital markets, and investment team members on document management and transaction coordination tasks. Requirements
- Background in commercial real estate paralegal work, ideally involving purchase and sale transactions, financing matters, and closing processes.
- Working knowledge of the documents, terminology, and timelines associated with property acquisitions, lender coordination, refinances, and dispositions.
- Experience supporting corporate entity maintenance, including entity formation, organization, dissolution, and corporate chart tracking.
- Ability to manage multiple active matters, prioritize deadlines, and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfortable collaborating with attorneys, outside counsel, and business stakeholders across legal and transaction-related projects.
- Proficiency in organizing legal records, contract files, and transaction documentation in a clear and efficient manner.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to learn new tools and processes quickly; training will be provided in certain administrative areas.
