This role requires professionalism, strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Legal Administrative Assistant handles receptionist duties, and plays a key role in creating a positive client experience while supporting attorneys and legal staff with day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment. Answer and route incoming calls, emails, and other inquiries promptly and accurately. Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference calls for attorneys and legal staff for the Augusta office. Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and legal correspondence. Monitor office and kitchen supply levels, restock essential items, and communicate replenishment needs to the appropriate contact. Maintain shared spaces such as the kitchen and conference room by keeping them orderly and neat. Assist with basic document preparation, filing, and data entry for legal cases.
Qualifications & Skills:
Prior experience in a receptionist or admin support role. Ability to manage a multi-line phone system, Microsoft Office, and data entry systems Strong organizational skills with attention to detail when sorting mail, and supporting office routines. Comfortable balancing recurring weekly tasks with changing day-to-day priorities that arise. Clear communication skills and customer-focused approach Team-oriented mindset with a positive and professional attitude Typing speed of 40+ words per minute
