About Us Klosinski Overstreet, LLP is a growing law firm serving clients throughout Georgia and South Carolina. We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment. Responsibilities Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and staff. Draft, proofread, and format legal correspondence, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Maintain and organize electronic and physical client files. Manage attorney calendars, scheduling, deadlines, and court dates. Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties. Prepare and process legal filings with state and federal courts. Assist with client intake and matter opening procedures. Track case progress and ensure deadlines are met. Coordinate document execution, records requests, and file management. Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and assist with general office operations. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of legal assistant experience preferred. Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and document preparation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, ect.). Experience with legal case management software preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to prioritize workload and work independently. Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: Corporate and Business Law Bankruptcy Litigation Probate and Estate Matters Real Estate Law What We Offer Stable, long-term career opportunity.
