The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with legal research platforms, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Assist attorneys and executives in preparing legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, contracts, loan documents, and other legal correspondence. Conduct legal research using Westlaw and other legal research databases to identify relevant statutes, regulations, and case law. Review, organize, and summarize documents for discovery, litigation, and trial preparation. Assist in managing and closing legal matters, including settlements, contract negotiations, and transactional matters. Support legal matters related to hotel acquisitions, operations, management agreements, franchise agreements, financing, refinancing, and commercial real estate transactions. Draft correspondence and communicate professionally with clients, lenders, opposing counsel, title companies, and court personnel. Maintain accurate case files and document management systems. Monitor legal deadlines and ensure timely filing of documents. Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, manage attorney calendars, and arrange travel as needed. Perform general administrative duties, including answering phones, filing documents, and managing office supplies. Support attorneys with special projects and other legal administrative tasks as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Paralegal or in a related legal field. Associate's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred. Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and administrative practices. Experience conducting legal research using Westlaw or similar legal research platforms. Familiarity with civil litigation, corporate law, commercial real estate, hospitality law, or business transactions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills. Preferred Experience Experience handling and closing legal matters related to hotel ownership, operations, acquisitions, and dispositions . Experience supporting hotel financing, refinancing, commercial lending, loan closings, and lender documentation . Familiarity with hotel franchise agreements (Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Choice, Wyndham, Best Western, etc.) and hotel management agreements. Experience reviewing and coordinating purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, title commitments, closing statements, and due diligence documentation . Experience working with commercial real estate transactions involving hospitality properties. Ability to coordinate with lenders, title companies, outside counsel, hotel operators, and ownership groups through the closing process.
