About the
Job:
If you're motivated by purpose and energized by helping others, this is an office where your work truly matters in impacting people's lives. You'll have direct contact with clients when they need support the most. You'll collaborate with a dedicated group of assistants, gain hands‐on experience with specialized case‐management tools, and develop skills that translate across legal, social service, and administrative fields.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with a team of eight experienced assistants and professionals. Learn and master the Prevail case‐management system. Maintain substantial client contact to update files, request medical records, and gather necessary information. Submit evidence electronically through SSA's Electronic Records Express (ERE). Communicate professionally with staff at the Social Security Administration and Veterans Administration. Perform general clerical duties, including filing, scanning, and document organization. Assist the receptionist with high call volume, as a backup, during a designated time slots.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills. Can handle interruptions, such as phone calls, while maintaining productivity in completing tasks. Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance. A self‐starter who learns quickly and takes initiative. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‐paced office. Prior experience in a busy office environment preferred. College Degree preferred.
