Job Description

Salary:
$19 - 20 per hour + Health and 401k

Staffing is partnering with a respected disability law firm in Decatur, GA, seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant or Paralegal. This is an excellent opportunity to make an impact by assisting clients and veterans as they navigate the legal system.

If You Have:
A bachelor's degree (BA/BS required) Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor Strong reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail The ability to multitask and perform effectively during high call volume periods Initiative as a self-starter and the enthusiasm to learn quickly
You Will Be:
Working closely with attorneys and fellow staff supporting Social Security Disability and Veterans' Benefits cases Managing client files and updating records through the case management system Communicating frequently with clients and obtaining necessary documentation and medical records Submitting evidence electronically through Social Security's Electronic Records Express (ERE) Interacting with staff at both the Social Security Administration and the Veterans Administration Performing general clerical and filing duties as needed
