Our client is a busy full-service law firm located in Jonesboro; GA has an immediate opening for a Paralegal position. Candidates must have experience working as a paralegal.

• Ability to take initiative
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliability
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Experience with office equipment such as copiers and scanners
• Ability to maintain an organized and clean workstation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to type a minimum of 60-70 wpm
• Ability to bill paralegal time
• Manage client files and organize information
• Ability to manage the heavy caseload of two attorneys
• Ability to prioritize caseload in accordance with attorney's needs
• Ability to draft pleadings and discovery

Education, Experience and Training:

• Must possess a high school diploma
• Paralegal Certificate or Degree Preferred
• Two years of experience as a paralegal
• Experience working on domestic, criminal defense, civil litigation and probate is a plus

High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

Legal drafting: 2 years (Preferred)
