Immigration Defense Paralegal 4015 Wetherburn Way, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092 $28 an hour - Full-time $28 an hour - Full-time About the Role We are looking for a skilled, bilingual Immigration Defense Paralegal to join our team at Tadeo & Silva Law. In this role, you will be the backbone of our case work — keeping filings on track, clients informed, and attorneys fully prepared across a range of removal, asylum, and deportation defense matters. What You'll Do Manage a caseload of removal defense matters from intake through case resolution. Prepare and file court documents across a range of immigration matters, including removal defense, asylum, cancellation of removal, bond hearings, waivers, motions, and appeals. Prepare and submit immigration benefit applications in compliance with USCIS, EOIR, and ICE regulations and procedures. Draft, review, and assemble legal documents, including petitions, motions, affidavits, declarations, briefs, and supporting evidence under attorney supervision. Maintain accurate, organized client files and ensure all case management systems are up to date. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, attorneys, USCIS, ICE, EOIR, and other government agencies by gathering documentation, providing case updates, and coordinating next steps. Track and meet all filing deadlines, court hearings, biometrics appointments, RFEs, and other case milestones. Organize and prepare hearing exhibits, attorney case files, witness materials, and supporting documentation for immigration court proceedings. Conduct legal and country conditions research to support case strategy and attorney preparation. Translate documents and provide interpretation services for Spanish-speaking clients as needed. Ensure all filings meet firm quality standards, maintain confidentiality, and comply with ethical and professional responsibilities. Collaborate with attorneys and team members to ensure cases progress efficiently while delivering an exceptional client experience. What We're Looking For Minimum of 2 years of experience as an immigration paralegal, with hands-on involvement in immigration court matters Fluency in Spanish and English — both written and verbal — is required Solid understanding of immigration law, policy, and procedure across USCIS and court contexts Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills
