Job Description

We are seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to provide support to our legal team in all phases of the litigation process. The ideal candidate will assist with preparing legal documents, organizing case files, and communicating with courts.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist attorneys in preparing and filing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, and motions. 2. Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible. 4. Communicate professionally with clients, witnesses, and court personnel to schedule appointments, depositions, and court hearings. 5. Prepare attorney for hearings, trials, and meetings by organizing case materials and ensuring all necessary documents are in order. 6. Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements for attorneys. 7. Handle administrative tasks such as billing, time entry, and expense management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification preferred but legal experience or other office administrative skills could be sufficient. 2. Proven experience working as a legal assistant, with a focus on litigation support. 3. Strong understanding of legal terminology, court rules, and filing procedures. 4. Proficiency in legal research tools and software. 5. Excellent communication and organizational skills. 6. Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment. 7. Discretion and respect for confidential information.
