The ideal candidate will have an understanding of both chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcy matters. This role requires strong clerical skills, effective phone etiquette, and the ability to manage legal cases efficiently. Responsibilities Prepare Bankruptcy Petitions and handle any tasks related to the preparing of the case to be filed as well as handle post filing matters as the attorney assigns them Manage legal case files, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and in a timely manner. Provide executive administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence. Maintain organized records of case files, including electronic filing systems. Communicate effectively with clients via phone and email, demonstrating professional phone etiquette. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to deadlines. Qualifications Previous experience as a paralegal or in a legal administrative role is required. Knowledge of both chapter 7 and chapter 13 is preferred Strong clerical skills with attention to detail in filing and documentation processes. Proficient in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify errors in documents. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on professional phone etiquette. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
