Possession of a notary public commission and/or Japanese bilingual skills are a plus! Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supporting several attorneys Managing attorney calendars to include scheduling and tracking appointments, meetings, and critical deadlines Organizing and maintaining case files Preparing and compiling legal documents and correspondence to include proofreading, assembling, finalizing, mailing and docketing. Experience with e-filing, and/or recording/ and e-recording corporate, estate planning, real estate, trust, tax forms and documents according to firm policies and legal requirements preferred Assisting in managing attorney timesheets, billings, and expenses to meet deadlines General administrative responsibilities including, but not limited to, scanning, copying, sorting, and shredding Additional duties as assigned Qualifications we are looking for include: Minimum two (2) years of experience working in a law firm Knowledge and experience e-filing, recording, and e-recording Experience with corporate, real estate, estate planning and trust law Proficient in Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook Word, and Excel) Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required Skilled in task-switching, prioritizing, and organization Ability to adhere to established protocols and procedures, receive constructive feedback and direction, and comply with established directives Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional and courteous customer service Punctuality with a strong attendance record Ability to type a minimum of 60 words per minute (wpm)
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time, non-exempt position, Monday through Friday. All work will be performed in person in a secure, climate-controlled office setting. Infrequently, additional hours may be requested depending on attorney and/or firm needs.
