Paralegal Job Responsibilities include:
Assisting with the preparation of documents Assisting with the preparation, filing and service of pleadings Organizing and managing documents and files Assisting with litigation matters, including discovery and trial preparation Occasional legal research Familiar with utilization of medical records Preferred Paralegal Minimum Qualifications include: A Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate issued by an ABA certified paralegal program 3 to 5 years of paralegal experience, specifically in the areas of litigation, insurance law, drafting of documents (preferred, however, willing to train) Proficient with Word Perfect and/or Word and Adobe Acrobat Efficient and detail-oriented Eager and willing to learn Excellent document management and organizational skills Working knowledge of how to perform legal research and has proficient investigative skills Strong written and oral communication skills Salary is commensurate with experience.
