Seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support attorneys in a busy and professional practice. This position provides administrative and legal support in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong drafting, proofreading, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Responsibilities Prepare, revise, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and other materials. Maintain electronic and physical client files, ensuring documents are organized and readily accessible. Manage attorney calendars, appointments, deadlines, and scheduling needs. Assist with drafting routine correspondence and legal documents. Coordinate meetings, calls, travel arrangements, and communications with clients and third parties. Process, organize, and route incoming and outgoing correspondence. Assist with document management, filing, and records maintenance. Support attorneys with matter management, including tracking deadlines and follow-up tasks. Assist with court filings, legal calendaring, and document management functions as needed. Provide exceptional client service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned. Qualifications Three or more years of legal assistant, legal secretary, or legal administrative experience preferred. An Associate's degree and strong administrative experience will also be considered. Excellent drafting, proofreading, grammar, and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel. Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting attorneys in litigation, real estate, lending, or other legal practice areas. This is a full-time, on-site position. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. We offer the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys in a collaborative and professional environment.
