The Legal Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing day-to-day tasks, including performance of administrative tasks and providing support to the legal team. The ideal candidate for this position possesses a strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills, outstanding communication skills and outstanding organizational skills. This position requires a professional business appearance and a positive demeanor. Key Responsibilities Coordination of appointments, including all correspondence between Attorney and Client Drafting documents and letters Management of legal documentation and correspondence in strict confidence Manage attorney calendars, schedule client meetings Prepare documents for mailing Correspondence with clients and others Organization and tracking of files or case documents, including pleadings and discovery documents. Required Skills & Abilities Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities under deadlines General knowledge of legal office procedures and terminology Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to new software Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organization and teamwork skills Professional and discreet when handling confidential information Education & Experience High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of 1-year legal administrative experience required; 2-3 years preferred
