Job Description

Overview SI Elder Law, LLC is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant to join our professional team in Marion, Illinois. This position will primarily assist with estate planning matters and will involve client communication, scheduling appointments, answering phones, maintaining case files, and supporting the firm's daily office operations. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, dependable, and enjoys working directly with clients and their families.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in an office setting Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel) Experience using scheduling and calendar management software Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to follow established procedures and workflows Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous law firm experience Experience working with estate planning, probate, or elder law matters This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position offering the opportunity to work in a professional and supportive environment dedicated to helping families throughout Southern Illinois.
